I've been gradually restyling my website since the new year, wanted something fresh :) What do you think?
@sethmlarson diagrams look good, and I really like the full width underline of section headers. Suggest | instead of / to seperate the navbar items, I thought it was a hierarchy at first raher than 4 top level alternatives
@sethmlarson Awesome post and super clear explanation. There's just a small error in the diagram comparing the "a" char i utf-8 and ascii in the conversion to binary, the utf-8 side has the wrong binary value for hex 61
@sethmlarson not a fan of fixed font for long-form text. It’s a) less legible and b) thirsty “look how technical I am” signaling – at least that’s how I perceive it and I’ve heard others echo that

@hynek Thanks for this feedback. I hadn't considered the "tech thirst" aspect. I've switched to a font that isn't fixed width, still looks great so I'm happy.
