I love signatures in #email -- but only ONCE per thread. Back in the day of the #BlueWave Mail Reader (anyone remember?) there was an option to put a signature on new messages but not in replies. I find myself editing replies and attempting to maintain this standard ~25 years later. BlueWave shaped my email habits... #vintage #vintagecomputing #unix
@ljovadotcom Recently had to deal with a support team whose mail formats framed all of their messages in masses of html
Made it impossible for me to edit it down to just the relevant content (well, at least, FastMail's web interface couldn't)
@FunkyBob I use Fastmail, too -- sometimes you can't win, even when you convert it to plain text.
