That's how I feel when I'm walking outside and come upon a group of ducks. Regardless of how quietly I've been, I'm pretty sure they've heard me, but I still stop and am extra still in the hopes that they won't take flight.
And sometimes they don't, and we're able to enjoy, in our own way, each other's company.
