@andrew I wholly understand how you feel about this. I (by extension) do social networks as dayjob, and as spare time I reverse engineer glucometers *protocols* -- I similarly put a limit to my involvement at downloading data that was already processed and got a "diagnostic" answer.
Also, huge respect for admitting how risk-fraught this is for everyone involved. I see more "cowboys" in the space than I'd ever be comfortable around 😞

@flameeyes Yeah, I worry about the level of development in various places in the space sometimes - especially regarding CSAM and other awful uses of social media - but I can still critique things without having to write my own solution.
@andrew I agree — thankfully I see @tariq and @alex have been covering a lot of that, because I personally don't feel at ease to write much, given the conflict of interest :(
