@root42 wait. Didn’t The Pawn have some graphics? I had the Amiga version, and I’m sure it had them (I do remember the monk quite clearly), but I seem to remember the C64 version had them, too…

Which version are you playing?

@fmarini we are playing the C64 version. We found the graphics to be too distracting. So we turned them off. On a 40x25 screen they cover up too much screen and the loading times are also abysmal.
