Apple is promoting a scam game “Tank Stars” on the App Store.
You can make an in-app purchase to remove ads, but the ads are not removed.
Worse still, Apple won’t refund the purchase.

The scam game happily makes an in app purchase to remove ads. It also lets you restore purchases.
Both are fake actions and don’t actually remove ads.
The scam game shows a banner ad in the game, as well as full screen takeovers every 30 seconds. Ads are shown after making an in-app purchase to remove them.
