It's telling that our "leadership" refuses to remember either, lest we learn anything that might change things.
We are not to remember we can come together and support each other.
We are not to remember the kids asking for a livable planet.
We are not to remember who the enemy is and how they came to divide us and dehumanise the vulnerable amongst us.
We are not to remember the power of Solidarity, diversity and Kotahitanga.
