I've just contributed to #Fedilab. Consider supporting them too — every little bit helps! https://opencollective.com/fedilab
To follow Twitter tags with #Fedilab you need the latest release (3.30.1). It works like following Twitter accounts with #Nitter.
In the main menu, open the option "Manage timelines", then check the media descriptions for more details.
You can create several timelines and/or group tags in a single timeline.
Hello! Is it possible to save my Bsky account to Fedilab, and if so, how? I keep getting the error message that the client ID is missing.
Would you be interested by a full step by step on how to use our #FDroid repo to get updates immediately?
It will cover all situations (when coming from FDroid or Google Play). Explain more about beta releases, backup data before switching etc.
We can even make this part translatable to reach more people.

Services from our server:
- Default in-app translation service that is also allowed to be used by small fediverse instances
> https://translate.fedilab.app
- #Nitter which is only accessible through the #Fedilab app to avoid rate limits.
- #FDroid, so you can get updates for beta releases and all updates immediately.
- #Fediplan, to schedule your messages
- Our dev Mastodon instance
In coming days, we will start to move our services to a new server that will be more reliable. We will keep you informed. #Fedilab
Next month, #Fedilab will be 8 years old. That's somewhat amazing to write that.
The app growed with your help. Most in-app features that we have implemented thanks to your suggestions became available through the Mastodon API.
- Bookmarks, translations, scheduled messages, timed-mute, home muted for lists, etc.
So simply a big thank you for your support and make the app as it is🙏
To people using instances that support more features than Mastodon, could you tell us what missing features should be implemented?
PS: #Fedilab already supports some features such reactions or quotes (you have to enable extra-features in Settings).
@apps Hi #fedilab I like the fedilab app a lot. One thing I can't get to work, the notifications. I use fedilab on a recent #Samsung #Android14 . When I set the push distributor it seems not to be saved. Please can you advise me how to get the notifications to work?
We have to change the category of #Fedilab in Google Play from "Social Network" to "Tools".
The reason, if it is set as a social Network app we have to provide a link to report child abuses.
While it is an important move from Google, it is impossible for us to link to such a report form. This part has to be managed by instances and Google will not understand when submitting the app to reviews.
If you write messages in different languages, the long list of available languages might be boring to scroll.
To make things easier, just go in Settings > Compose and tap on "Languages in picker".
Then select languages you want to see when composing.
#Fedilab 3.30.0 has been published in production.

We have introduced the ability to connect through a token with #Fedilab.
This feature is useful when sharing an account.
It prevents to share the password and also it allows to customize the scopes of this token (read, write etc.).

Could you give us your feedback concerning your needs when following Twitter accounts through #Fedilab (with #Nitter).
What content do you want to see from these accounts ? (several answers possible)
PS: If few people are interested by seeing RT and especially quoted messages, the work won't be the same.
Options:
People often ask us what "Home muted users" means.
For the context, when you want to add a user in a list, you have to follow the account first.
So that means, you will receive their messages in your Home timeline.
#Fedilab introduced a feature that allows to mute them only for Home (this is an in-app feature).
If you have a list, you can bulk mute users for Home. Otherwise it's possible from their profile.
