I never use the Federated feed, it is a mess full of unwanted stuff, I wish I had option to personalize it.
Most of the times I am on the Home (following) feed or some specific hashtag.

@bruno Yeah, I was able to control with some content filters, but the most effective was to defederate a bit by blocking some instances that had content that I didn't want to store in my self hosted db even if this is transitive content that will get cleaned up in a week if I dont interact with it.

Settings > Preferences > Other > Filter Languages > seleciona só português
@solr4ctg O GtS não tem isso, mas eu queria filtrar só a federada, na home tem conteudo em inglês que quero ver.
Deve ter algum client com essa funcionalidade.
